Victrex was formed following a management buyout from ICI in 1993 and was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1995.
From small beginnings and less than 60 employees, Victrex has grown to be a global business serving five strategic markets and with over 1100 employees. Today, Victrex is valued at around £1 billion on the London Stock Exchange and over 98% of our sales are from outside the UK, with over 40 countries served. Our sustainable products are also aligned to global megatrends, bringing environmental and societal benefits, whether that be through lightweight materials in Aerospace and Automotive supporting CO2 reduction, or products which support clinical benefit in the Medical industry.
